A Conversation About Space with Kepler
Celestial Citizen Short Film Chosen by NASA and Houston Cinema Arts Society as Finalist in 2022 CineSpace Festival!
Happy Wednesday Celestial Citizens!
I’m thrilled to announce the public release of Celestial Citizen’s short film “A Conversation About Space with Kepler” on our YouTube channel!
Enthusiasm for space knows no bounds - even at two years old, Kepler (no, not the astronomer) can recite the planets in our solar system and Jupiter's moons. His mom (that’s me) takes the afternoon to chat with him about his love of space, what he thinks he will one day do on Mars, and the vastness of our universe.
Relive the magic of seeing the cosmos through a child’s eyes in our new short film!
We were also honored to have “A Conversation About Space with Kepler” be selected as one of 12 finalists chosen by NASA and the Houston Cinema Arts Society for CineSpace 2022, a film festival that gives filmmakers around the world the opportunity to use historical NASA footage to tell stories about how space impacts us all.
We hope this film brings you as much joy as it has our team!

A big thank you to Evan for directing and editing this film, Victor Figueroa for sound mixing, and Emma Yee for title design. Also, a special thanks to the Houston Cinematic Arts Society, Tongal, and NASA for all the work they put into making this competition happen and honoring our film.
